“Greetings to you in the name of our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ.”

‘The harvest is plenty but the workers are few…..’ Luke 10:2

It gives me immense pleasure to share the activities of the Youth Fellowship during the last year with the few youth members that the Lord has blessed us with from our cathedral.

‘CHANGE’ is the word that dominated the year 2008, both to the world as well as our Youth Fellowship.

YOUTH FELLOWSHIP – We believe in a Christ Centered Fellowship and this implies in everything we do from playing cricket or having chai - samosa. But what really matters is the Fellowship time of praise, worship continued with spiritual insights from Word which help us to walk in the light through the week ahead. Our zeal to reach the unreached around our cathedral was fulfilled with tract distribution on Good Friday.

YOUTH SUNDAY – We have had few of the best speakers for all the four youth Sundays of this year. It all started with theme: ‘Everything’ Rom 8:28; then ‘Road To Success...’ Isa 1:19; Indescribable DVD by Louie Giglio and YFC as part of the 50th anniversary had conducted the service. To use the technology for God’s Kingdom SPG youth has launched its website www.spguth.co.nr

CHURCH ACTIVITIES – Youth have been active in all the programs of the church – VBS, Children Thanksgiving, Harvest festival, Candle light service, Christmas, attending the choir, going for carol rounds, helping in Christmas and Bon Fire which concluded with much appreciation. Leading the singing for the Revival meetings have truly revived us to stay rooted in God’s Word.

COMPETITIONS – Our involvement in the YFC Competitions - Throw Ball, Basketball, Quiz and Cricket as part of their 50th anniversary by the youth has been encouraging. The girls throw ball team won the trophy, out of nine teams from our church, only one team “Cornerstones” (Beryl & Priscilla) reached Inquizitive's Grand Finale and the individual performance by our boys in cricket and basketball are note worthy.

We give all praise, glory and honor to our Lord who has made all this possible! We also owe our gratitude to beloved Bishop, pastors, management committee and all elders of our church for their continual guidance, support and encouragement.

It is our prayer and desire that we will do greater exploits for Christ in the year 2009. We look forward to serve Him with a greater passion and zeal by bringing together all our talents. We ask God for numerical growth, spiritual growth, Intimate prayer & excellence in all we do. I request you to kindly uphold us in your prayers. The S.P.G. Youth Fellowship will be soon be raising Josephs, Daniels and Esthers for our nation!

You are cordially invited to be a part of the S.P.G. U-th Fellowship!

Pray – Plan – Participate!

In the Master’s Vineyard,
